Then we'll build a digital foundation that meets your current needs—without automatically making it more complex than necessary.

You don't need to know which CMS, which plugin, or which integration you need—or what the heck a CMS even is. Just tell me what your business does, where you want to go, and what isn't working right now. I'll take care of the technical details.

You'll work directly with me. I want to understand who's behind the company, what's important, and how you like to work. And I'll explain what I do without turning every conversation into a web development exam.

What's already there?
Do you already have a website? If so, I won't automatically discard it just because building a new one is easier to sell. I'll look at the basics first.

The technical foundation is solid, and what's already in place can be kept as is. Then we'll build on that.

The foundation is usable, but it needs some cleanup or technical adjustments before we can move forward.

If the existing setup places too many restrictions on the project or is not technically sound as a foundation for further development, it may make more sense to start from scratch.
If this isn't clear at first glance, a technical check may be necessary first. A thorough analysis is not included in the free introductory consultation.

No matter how personalized my guidance is, I can't figure out your business all on my own. For the project to run smoothly, I also need input from you.

I bring structure to the project, design and build within the agreed-upon scope, explain technical decisions in plain language, and keep you updated on our progress.

You provide the information and access I need, supply usable visual material, make decisions, and give clear feedback and approvals in a timely manner.
The clearer your feedback, the easier it is for me to work with it. “I don’t feel it” is fine—but please be sure to tell me exactly what you don’t feel. 😉

Feedback
Feedback is part of the process. Endless revisions are not. That’s why we agree in advance on how many rounds of feedback will be included in your project.
For regular projects, this usually involves a maximum of two rounds. For smaller introductory projects, it may be just one round. The terms that apply to your project will be clearly stated in the quote in advance.
New requests outside the agreed scope aren't a problem - we'll just review what they involve separately first.

Under the hood
I work primarily with WordPress, but that doesn't mean WordPress is automatically the right choice for every website. The existing setup, functionality, and the project itself all play a role in determining what makes sense.
If another platform is a better fit, we can consider that as well.
Technical and on-page fundamentals within the website project. No comprehensive SEO or keyword research.
Focus on a technically sound and as efficient as possible setup within the chosen stack and scope.
Forms, email, CRM, appointments, or automations can be included if they are part of the project.

Please provide usable source files. If what you have isn't technically usable, I'll determine the best way forward with you.

The Process

We'll get to know each other and your company, and determine whether a web design project is a logical next step.

I'll work with you to determine what needs to be built, what falls within the scope, and what input I need. For an existing website, additional technical research may be required first.

We define the foundation of the website: structure, pages, content, and, where necessary, copy and wireframes.

I'll translate that foundation into the visual design and the technical aspects of the website. You'll provide feedback at the agreed-upon times.

Before the website goes live, the agreed-upon components will be checked, and you’ll have the opportunity to give final approval. After that, the website will go live.

Following the launch, I provide 30 days of post-launch support for minor corrections and questions regarding the delivered website. If you’d like to continue receiving technical support after that, you can sign up for Care & AI Support.

New pages, major changes, new features, or ongoing technical maintenance are not automatically included in this.
