Step by Step Toward Greater Luxury for Auxilium Wellness

Auxilium Wellness combines a wellness retreat with amenities such as a sauna, jacuzzi, massages, and delicious food. Leslie didn’t want to completely replace her existing website, but she did want to gradually bring it closer to the luxurious look she envisioned for her business. What started as a few small adjustments turned into an ongoing website makeover.

What was
going on.

By the time Leslie came to me, Auxilium Wellness had already built a WordPress website using Elementor.

The website used an existing template, which served as a good foundation, but Leslie felt the design was too busy and didn't quite match the look she was going for.

Given our past experiences with web designers, there was understandably some hesitation at first. That’s why we deliberately started small, with a few adjustments to existing text.

From there, the collaboration continued to grow step by step.

The problem

Where things

got stuck.

Auxilium Wellness needed to project a more luxurious image without completely overhauling its existing website.

At the same time, Leslie's offerings also evolved. Services, content, and prices changed, which meant that not only the design but also the content of the website had to be reevaluated.

So the challenge wasn't to rebuild everything from scratch, but to preserve the existing solid foundation and gradually make it more serene, sleek, and luxurious.

My Role

I'm helping Leslie further develop her existing website.

We started with minor textual changes and gradually expanded our work to include the layout and visual design of various sections of the website.

I incorporated the revised proposal, new text, and prices, and reworked parts of the layout to give the website a more serene and luxurious feel.

In addition, I helped organize a new photo shoot and put Leslie in touch with a photographer from my network for that purpose. The new images will be used to further reinforce Auxilium Wellness’s revamped brand identity visually.

What I Built
or configured.

I will continue working on the existing WordPress and Elementor website, keeping the template that was already in place.

Instead of rebuilding everything from scratch, I'm updating the existing pages step by step. I'm revising the text, prices, and offerings, and simplifying the layout where it feels too cluttered.

The visual direction is clear: less clutter, more tranquility, and a more luxurious look.

The new photos from the organized photo shoot will also be incorporated into the redesigned website.

Important Decisions

There was no need to get rid of the existing template. The foundation was solid, but the design could have been better aligned with Auxilium Wellness.

That's why we opted not for a complete rebuild, but for a phased makeover.

That approach also fit well with our collaboration. We started with small assignments and expanded our work on the website as it became clear what direction Leslie wanted to take with it.

Furthermore, the website doesn't have to be "finished" all at once. We'll continue working on it as Auxilium Wellness's offerings evolve.

Not an all-or-nothing rebuild, but a website that’s getting closer to Leslie’s vision step by step.

What
Changed

Meanwhile, part of the Auxilium Wellness website has been given a new, more serene and luxurious look.

Text, pricing, and offerings were updated, parts of the layout were redesigned, and new professional imagery was added to further support the visual direction.

The redesign is intentionally not yet complete. We are continuing to work on the remaining sections of the website step by step, so that the site can evolve alongside Auxilium Wellness.
